I write code for a living. (ColdFusion, specifically.) I often refer to myself as a “code monkey”. Some days, I wish I could just sit and churn out code instead of dealing with all the stuff that working in the real world requires.
Which is why I found this song, entitled “Code Monkey” so funny.

Of course, when I was working for G.Triad I was part of the “Half-Monkey Crew”. We cracked ourselves up over that while we worked long hours. Before the internet bubble burst, of course. (Some day I’ll tell the story of where the “half-monkey” came from.)
